Below, you can find the serial number and casting code locations of the Fordson models.

Dexta & Super Dexta |
| The Dexta and Super Dexta have the following codes. |
Serial number: on the flange between the clutch housing and the engine, on the left hand side of the tractor stamped vertically on the edge of the flange where the bolts go through
Engine number: left hand side of the engine near the exhaust manifold
Clutch casting code: right hand side of the clutch casting
Gearbox casting code: right hand side of the gearbox casting
Hydraulic lift casting code: underneath the seat
Rear axle casting code: front side of the rear axle |
| Dextas and Super Dextas were produced between 1957-1964 and 1962-1964 respectively. Below, you can find the serial numbers with the corresponding year of manufacture. |

| Casting codes have 2 formats; until 1963, the code consisted of a letter indicating a month, a letter indicating the date and a letter indicating the year. Chrome vertical Fordson Dexta emblem attched to the centre of the front nose cowl. LPTO label attached to right hand chaff grille. Wheatsheaf badge attached to front nose cowl with plain orange background only. Lights fixed to outside of nose cowl. |
