The complete kit to convert your tractor from a Lucas C40 Dynamo to an Alternator.
Kit Contains: Wiring Harness, Alternator, Bracket, Ignition Switch & Charge Warning Light.
Please Note: All machines should be converted to negative earth when fitted with an Alternator.

Converting your tractor charging system from a dynamo to an alternator makes sense in more ways than one, for a start an alternator is a lot more reliable and more efficient than a dynamo. it also simplifies the charging system as you will no longer need a control box. The control box is quiet often the culprit when it comes to electrical issues on older Tractors.
The alternator in this kit is 12V producing 32 Amps regulated by an inbuilt regulator to ensure no damage is done to any electrical components on your Tractor, comparing this to your Lucas C40 dynamo which is 11 Amps the alternator makes perfect sense if your thinking of adding extra lights or anything which requires a bit more electrical Power. The wiring loom comes in a protected sheath with all the ring and push fit terminals Crimped on to connect straight up.
